About Suzanne
I'm in New York City, where it is,
Growing up in New York City, I was a shy kid. I spent much of my time with books, drawing, and in my own thoughts, quietly taking in the world around me. From a young age, I noticed how people lived their days, the emotion in their voices, and the feelings beneath their conversations. Like many of my peers, I followed the expected path: I earned a terminal degree and mapped out a career. But something inside kept pulling at me, asking deeper questions about who I wanted to be and what kind of world I wanted to live in.
Life has a way of shifting our direction. For me, it happened through difficult times. In those moments, I found meditation and philosophy. Studying Zen and Taoist thought, and spending time in monasteries, expanded my awareness. What began as quiet observation became a deeper understanding of how people suffer, connect, and grow. That journey led me inward and continues to shape how I live and how I design.
Today, as a Product Designer and founder, those insights guide everything I build. Across startups, academia, and Fortune 100 companies in New York, Beijing, and Silicon Valley, I have learned that soulful work begins with listening. It takes presence to see the world clearly and to recognize the contradiction between what people say and what they truly need. Through design and in life, I aim to contribute with care and intention.
My work is rooted in curiosity about the human experience. Each project is a chance to create thoughtful, living systems that grow with the people who use them. I believe design shapes meaning, meaning shapes culture, and culture shapes behavior. In turn, behavior gives rise to new meaning. This ongoing cycle is what motivates me, and it is what I bring to every challenge I take on.
